Handle with care, especially when extracting the condom from its individual packet. Condoms can be damaged by sharp objects like nails, jewelry, scissors, etc.
1.- Open packet from the side, taking special care not to damage condom. Remove carefully from packet.
2.- Place condom on erect penis before there is any kind of contact between penis and the body of sexual partner. This contributes to the prevention of unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
3.- Air trapped inside a condom may cause it to break. In order to make a snug fit, hold the closed end of the condom between thumb and index finger and place condom on erect penis. Verify that the rolled-up portion of the condom is on the outside.
4.- While pressing the closed end of the condom with one hand, use the other hand to carefully unroll it until it covers the whole length of the erect penis. Make sure it does not feel too loose or too tight because this may cause it to break. Make sure condom does not move during sexual intercourse. In case it rolls back up, unroll it again immediately. In case condom is detached or falls off, interrupt intercourse immediately and put on a fresh condom before continuing.
5.- After ejaculation, remove penis while it is still erect, firmly holding condom at the base of the penis. Take off condom only after removing penis from body of partner. Keep penis and used condom clear of partner's body.
6.- Discard condom hygienically. Roll it up on a piece of tissue and discard it in a trash bin (never flush it down the toilet).,If used properly, condoms made of rubber latex can help lower the risk of infection by HIV (AIDS) and other sexually transmitted infections like chlamidia, genital herpes, genital warts, gonorrhea, hepatitis B and syphillis. Condoms are useful auxiliaries in family planning and in the prevention of unwanted pregnancies.
Warnings: This product contains rubber latex, which can cause allergic reactions. In case of any allergic reaction, consult your physician. Some individuals may experience heightened sensitivitiy to latex products. Please consult your physician before using a condom.
It is advisable to seek medical advice as soon as possible at least during the first 72 hours after a condom has broken during use.
If, after sexual intercourse has taken place, there is any reason to suspect that partner may be pregnant, consult your physician immediately.
